Jessica Poser Jessica Poser is an artist and educator living and working in the Hudson Valley. She received her MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a doctorate in education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Habitude is an ongoing project in which she crochets plastic bags and adds to a growing structure. The piece proliferates and accumulates and takes on an organic configuration. She invites people to crochet with her and add to the growing piece or start new ones. The process fosters an exchange between mass produced/ disposable materials and handmade ways of working.
